Columbia Professional University – Scholarship Policy

The following scholarships and schemes have been declared for students seeking admission to the 1st year of any program at the University during the academic year 2026–27:

1. Scholarship on Merit – All Courses

Note:

If this scholarship is availed, no other scholarship offered by the University will be allowed. Only one scholarship provided by CPU shall be applicable at a time.

Not applicable to the B.Ed. Department.

Applicable only for the First Year.

2. Scheme for Siblings (Real Brother/Sister)

This scholarship is applicable only to direct blood relations of students currently studying at the University.

A 10% scholarship on tuition fees will be offered to the newly admitted student.

This scholarship is valid only until the completion of the course of the elder sibling (i.e., the previously admitted student).

3. Scheme for Girl Students

To promote girls’ education across the country, a scholarship of 10% on tuition fees shall be granted.

4. Early Bird Scheme

Students who take admission by paying the semester fees on or before 31st May 2026 will be eligible for the Early Bird Scholarship.

Note: This scheme is valid only for the year of admission (i.e., First Year only).

5. Scheme for One-Time Fee Payment

A relaxation of 5% on tuition fees will be granted to students who pay the full first-year fees at the time of admission.

If a student pays the full fee for the entire course at the time of admission, he/she will be eligible for a 15% relaxation on the total tuition fee of the entire course.

6. Attendance Scholarship

To encourage regular attendance, students maintaining the required attendance will be awarded a scholarship in the subsequent semester, as detailed below:

Above 90% 10% of tuition fee

7. Employee / Staff of CPU

If a student seeking admission is a ward of an employee/staff member of CPU, the student shall be eligible for 30% relaxation in the tuition fee for the year (except Research Programs).

8. Alumni of CPU

If a student seeking admission is an alumnus/alumna of CGI, he/she shall be eligible for a 10% relaxation in the total fee for the year (except Research Programs).

9. Blood Relations of CPU Employees

If a student seeking admission belongs to the direct blood relations of an employee/staff member of CPU, the student shall be eligible for 20% relaxation in the tuition fee for the year (except Research Programs).

10. Special Consideration

Financially weaker students/physically challenged students/special children/students not specifically mentioned in the above clauses may be granted relaxation at the discretion of the Chancellor / Pro-Chancellor.

11. Social Scholarships

1. Scholarship for wards of serving and retired personnel of the Indian Army, Indian Air Force, and Indian Navy – 20%

2. Scholarship for students who are physically challenged at the time of application – 20%

3. Scholarship for wards of recipients of Bharat Ratna, Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan, Padma Shri, and National Award Winners – 100%

Note: All the above-mentioned relaxations are applicable only to the First Year tuition fee.

General Terms and Conditions

1. A student availing one scholarship/scheme will not be entitled to any other scholarship/scheme offered by the University.

2. In case a student receives a full fee bank loan and is awarded a scholarship, the excess amount received will be refunded before the commencement of the next semester.

3. Conditions for continuation of Merit Scholarships in subsequent years:

- The student must maintain at least 85% attendance in theory classes during the academic year.

- The student must secure the following marks in the University Examination:

- More than 90% marks to continue with the same scholarship.

- If the student secures between 80–89.9% marks, the scholarship will be reduced to 20% of the tuition fee.

4. Referral amounts will be adjusted/credited/paid to the student only after the full fees for the academic session of the referred student have been deposited.

Columbia Professional University – Scholarship Policy

(Pharmacy Programs Only – Academic Year 2026–27)

The following scholarships are declared for students seeking admission to the 1st year of Pharmacy programs during the academic year 2026–27:
